Yasseen Tasabehji
|
Known worldwide (or at least in his mother's eyes) as the Syrian George Clooney, Yasseen Tasabehji is a charmingly eccentric Masters student, completing his degree in Developmental Psychology and Education at the University of Toronto.
He is the Co-Founder of Mirage Coaching, a self-development organization creating resilient individuals through specialized workshops and programs. With experience guest lecturing for the University of Toronto, and in programs such as Jack.org, Toastmasters, and the Young Entrepreneurial Conference (YEC), Yasseen's passion for public speaking comes from his innate need to touch the lives of others with a dose of happiness; that which can be felt just by his presence in a room. When he isn't talking your ear off, he likes to spend his time learning as much about life as he possibly can. Yasseen has his toes dipped in every pond; practicing the violin, going to salsa classes with his sister, learning Spanish on DuoLingo, and hiking 150 kilometres in the Canadian Rockies every summer (albeit twisting his ankle every chance he gets).
